Employment Solicitor / Associate | 2–4 PQE | Claimant / Employee Focus | London
Lex Exec is recruiting for an Employment Solicitor or Associate to join an established Employment team in London.
The role offers a varied contentious caseload, advising individuals and senior executives on workplace disputes and negotiated outcomes. It would suit someone who enjoys combining detailed legal analysis with practical advice and close client contact.
There is scope to take increasing responsibility for matters while developing your experience with support from senior colleagues.
The Opportunity
The work includes:
- Employment Tribunal litigation, including unfair dismissal and discrimination
- Whistleblowing and harassment claims
- Senior executive disputes and negotiated resolutions
- Assessing the merits of claims and contributing to case strategy
- Drafting legal documents and advising clients throughout their matters
You will contribute to the conduct of complex disputes, develop client relationships and play an active part in progressing cases.
About You
We are particularly interested in speaking with lawyers with around 2–4 years’ PQE in Employment law, although relevant experience and capability will be central to the assessment.
You are likely to have:
- Experience representing employees or claimants in Employment disputes
- Strong drafting and analytical skills
- Confidence communicating directly with clients
- A well-organised approach to managing competing priorities
- Sound commercial judgement
- An interest in developing your technical expertise and taking greater responsibility
