We are seeking a Data Privacy Consultant to join our UK-based consulting team on a full-time basis. This role is suited to professionals with solid experience in data protection and privacy advisory work, who are comfortable delivering client-facing consulting engagements and translating regulatory requirements into practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and broader global data protection requirements
- Support the design, implementation, and improvement of privacy programmes and operating models
- Conduct DPIAs, LIAs, gap analyses, and privacy risk assessments
- Develop and review privacy documentation, including policies, procedures, and records of processing
- Support clients with regulatory change, remediation activities, and audit preparation
- Engage directly with client stakeholders to deliver clear, pragmatic advice
- Contribute to internal knowledge development and consulting best practices
Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience working in data privacy or data protection, ideally within a consulting or advisory environment
- Strong understanding of UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and related regulatory frameworks
- Experience delivering client-facing work and managing multiple priorities
- Ability to translate legal and regulatory requirements into actionable guidance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant certifications (CIPP/E, CIPM, or similar) desirable but not required
