Talent Adviser and Co-ordinator Role

You\'ll get to own and coordinate our vital talent pipeline programmes, including T Levels, apprenticeships, and graduate schemes, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively. You\'ll also be involved in exciting projects to enhance our employee benefits, promote our employer brand, and support wider workforce development initiatives. The role:

  • Talent Pipeline Management: You\'ll coordinate and manage key talent development programmes, including apprenticeships, graduate schemes, internships, and work experience placements.
  • Strategic Support: You\'ll work with the Talent Management and Reward Manager to implement initiatives that enhance workforce capability, support succession planning, and evaluate the council\'s employee benefits offer.
  • Data and Reporting: You\'ll be responsible for monitoring programme performance, conducting research on labour market trends, and providing data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: You\'ll collaborate with internal and external partners to strengthen the council\'s employer brand, support targeted recruitment, and more.

What we\'re looking for

You must have a proven track record in an HR, talent management, or recruitment-related role, with specific experience in coordinating apprenticeship and/or graduate programmes within a complex organisation. You must have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build and manage relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. A collaborative, \"one council\" approach is essential. You must be able to analyse and report on benchmarking data, track programme performance, and use these insights to make informed decisions and recommendations for improvement. You must have strong coordination and project management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks and initiatives simultaneously. Location

The job is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.
