You will be a proactive problem solver with experience of undertaking investigations, gathering and assessing evidence, and where appropriate progressing enforcement action. Strong organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities and a commitment to delivering high-quality services in a fast-paced environment are key.

What’s the role? You’ll investigate and resolve complaints relating to anti-social behaviour, statutory nuisance and community safety, using a range of enforcement powers where appropriate. You’ll manage complex casework, gather evidence and work closely with residents, Police and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes. The role also involves preparing legal documentation, attending court or hearings when required, and participating in out-of-hours enforcement and patrol work.

This is a community-focused role, with a balance of office-based and field-based working across the borough.
Special conditions: Good numeracy and literacy with a minimum of GCSE A-C including Maths and English. Able to attend meetings in the evenings, to work outside normal office hours and to work beyond minimum hours when required to achieve deadlines. The job is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
