We are currently recruiting for an experienced Level 2 Pest Control Technician to cover a portfolio of commercial and residential sites across South East and East London. This is a mobile position, with a company van provided, offering a basic salary of £30,000 - £33,000 plus overtime and commission, providing excellent additional earning potential. The successful candidate will be an experienced pest control professional who is comfortable managing their own workload, delivering a high standard of service and building strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine pest control inspections and treatments across South East and East London.
  • Identify and treat a wide range of pest issues, including rodents, crawling insects and flying insects.
  • Investigate the causes of pest activity and recommend appropriate preventative measures.
  • Carry out proofing and minor remedial works where required.
  • Complete detailed treatment reports and maintain accurate service records.
  • Manage an allocated portfolio of customer sites.
  • Respond to emergency and reactive call-outs when required.
  • Provide professional advice and recommendations to customers.
  • Identify opportunities for additional pest control services and remedial works.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant legislation and company procedures.
  • Maintain the company vehicle, equipment and stock to a high standard.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.

Candidate Requirements

  • Level 2 pest control qualification - RSPH/BPCA or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working as a Pest Control Technician.
  • Experience dealing with a broad range of pest species.
  • Good knowledge of pest control treatments, legislation and industry best practice.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage their own diary and workload effectively.
  • A professional and reliable approach.
  • Good written skills for completing reports and site documentation.
  • Full UK driving licence.
