Role Overview
Quantity Surveyor – responsible for commercial and financial management of housing repairs and property works, ensuring regulatory compliance and value for money.
Responsibilities
- Commercial and financial management of housing repairs and property works, managing valuations, variations, forecasting and reporting.
- Work closely with operational colleagues and contractors to maintain cost discipline and contractual compliance.
- Provide clear financial insight to support decision‑making, manage risk and ensure accurate reporting.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in housing, property or social housing environments.
- Proven ability to manage commercial and financial aspects of works, including valuations, variations, forecasting and cost control.
- Confident working with contractors and operational teams, providing clear commercial advice and constructive challenge.
- Good understanding of different forms of contract and pricing mechanisms such as NHF Schedule of Rates.
- Collaborative, professional individual with strong communication skills.
Location & Working Arrangements
Primarily based in Laurence House. Hybrid approach – regular office and home work.
Special Conditions
Weekend working required. Standard DBS check subject.

Salary
