We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Tenancy Audit Officer to work within our Tenancy Audit Team. You will be tackling social housing fraud and supporting the Council to house those in most need.
What's the role?
- Visiting council properties to establish who lives there and whether the property is abandoned or sublet.
- Reviewing different information to establish the true nature of the tenancy.
- Where a breach of the tenancy exists, serving the relevant legal notices, and attending court to give evidence.
- The aim is to recover properties so they can be re-let in line with the Council's allocation policy.

Location
The job is primarily on site across the borough of Lewisham, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Salary
£37,509- £38,637 per annum (Scale 6). N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
