Responsibilities
- Lead the transformation of Children’s Services through smarter systems and better insight.
- Oversee the development of case‑management systems, user‑centred workflows and data solutions that improve frontline practice and decision‑making.
- Translate complex challenges into practical solutions and lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, balancing innovation with governance and staying abreast of legislative and regulatory developments.
- Ensure services have the information, tools and intelligence needed to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.
Qualifications
- Strategic and adaptable leader with experience managing case‑management systems, data engineering, business intelligence and performance.
- Ability to bring together teams with different technical specialisms and translate complex challenges into practical solutions.
- Demonstrated confidence in operating at both strategic and operational levels.
- Strong stakeholder‑management skills and experience building relationships with senior leaders.
- Passion for ensuring systems, data and insight drive service improvement and better outcomes for children and young people.

Salary
£64,938 – £69,660 per annum (SMG1). All appointments are offered at the minimum salary point for the grade of the role, with the possibility of higher pay when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale).
Location
The job is primarily based in Laurence House, with a hybrid approach allowing up to three days per week of home working, subject to business needs.
