What’s the role?

As part of the Paediatric Community Occupational Therapy Team, you will play a vital role in supporting children, young people and their families across Lewisham. You will:

  • Manage a varied small complex caseload of children and young people with disabilities
  • Provide assessments, equipment, minor and major adaptations
  • Work closely with families and the multi-disciplinary teams
  • Provide clinical supervision and training to Occupational Therapists
  • Support the Operational Manager in service development

What We’re Looking For

A passionate and motivated experienced Senior Paediatric Community Occupational Therapist with a willingness to grow your knowledge and skills. You will have knowledge and experience of equipment provision, minor and major adaptations, manual handling, risk assessment and supervision of others.

Location

The job is hybrid where you will be required to work both in the office Kaleidoscope, 32 Rushey Green, Catford, London, SE6 4JF, in the community in service users’ homes and from home on a regular basis.

Special conditions

  • HCPC Registration
  • Degree/MSC or Diploma in Occupational Therapy required
  • Job is subject to an enhanced DBS check

Salary

£50,175 - £52,269 per annum (SOT / SCP 35-37)
