Responsibilities
- Manage high‑risk and complex ASB and hate incident cases involving council tenants and impact local communities.
- Handle your own caseload and provide advice and guidance to colleagues.
- Lead the team in utilising powers under the ASB Crime and Policing Act 2014 and the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
- Ensure excellent service delivery in partnership with the ASB Manager.
Qualifications
- Experience of partnership working in addressing ASB and managing cases from initial reports to successful closure, including court applications.
- Flexible, innovative, and able to adopt new problem‑solving approaches.
- Good understanding of challenges facing a social housing provider regarding ASB, resilience under pressure, and ability to manage conflicting demands.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to keep diverse communities safe from harm.
Location
The role is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford, London, SE6 4RU, with a hybrid approach requiring regular office and home-based work.
Special Conditions
- Attendance at evening or weekend meetings as necessary.
- Subject to a DBS check.
Salary
£44,235‑£45,852 per annum (PO1); appointments offered at the minimum SCP for the role grade, with possible adjustments for current salary up to the maximum of the scale.
