We are seeking to appoint a motivated and inspirational Teacher of Music from September 2026. This is an opportunity for a teacher to become part of our supportive Visual & Performing Arts (VPAT) Department. This post is offered on a fixed term contract to cover the substantive postholder’s maternity leave.

Responsibilities

  • Teach across all age and ability ranges.
  • Raise the achievement of all students and play a full part in the life of the school.
  • Develop and run weekly extra‑curricular activities for students as part of the VPAT Faculty.

Qualifications & Experience

Applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome, as the school has a strong ECT training and support programme.

Prendergast Vale School is a small all‑through school providing high‑quality education from nursery to Year 11, which aims to transform the lives of all the children who attend the school.
