Now recruiting Sessional Tutors – Supported Learning & Mindlift Departments

The role

Are you passionate about inclusive education?

We are looking for dedicated tutors to teach Cooking, Home Management, Mindful Cooking, Hospitality and ICT (including Graphic Design) to adults with SEND and/or mental health conditions.

We currently have multiple vacancies in the following areas:

  • Mindful Cooking (Mindlift Department)
  • Practical Home-Embedded Cooking (Supported Learning Department
  • ICT for Beginners and Intro to Graphic Design (Supported Learning Department)
  • 1x Hospitality tutor – Support adults with learning disabilities in developing real-world hospitality skills. Deliver engaging, hands-on sessions in a teaching kitchen and classroom setting, helping learners build confidence and prepare for employment.

Location

  • Courses run at our centres: Granville Park and Brockley Rise
  • 11-week terms, 2 hours per week
  • Weekday mornings or afternoons – flexible working patterns available

What We’re Looking For

Tutors who can:

  • Design and deliver inclusive, learner-centred sessions
  • Create course materials with support from curriculum leaders
  • Confidently use and develop online content via Moodle
  • Track learner progress and support personal learning goals
  • Complete relevant documentation and attend tutor development sessions

Applicants required to have:

  • Experience working with SEND and/or mental health support needs
  • Subject-relevant training/qualifications
  • Willingness to gain a teaching qualification (we’ll support you!)
  • Commitment to inclusive practice and collaborative working

Salary details

£33.64per Hour (depending On Qualifications And Experience)
