Role Overview:
As a Newley Qualified Social Worker in the Adults with Learning Disability, Autism Team and Transition Team you will play a crucial role in supporting adults + through adulthood. Your responsibilities will include:
- Case Work: Conducting Mental Capacity (MCA) Assessments, Court of Protection applications, and s safeguarding enquiries.
- Positive Risk Support: Encouraging individuals to take positive risks while aiming for the least restrictive interventions.
- Collaborative Working: Partnering with service providers and stakeholders to deliver comprehensive support.
- Strength-Based Approach: Undertaking assessments, setting personal goals and outcomes, and reviewing their effectiveness.
- Person-Centred Decisions: Ensuring the individual\’s wishes are at the heart of every decision.
- Resource Management: Exploring community and commissioned services to meet eligible needs within budget.

Location
The job is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford London, SE RU but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.
