Job Description
The HLTA role focuses on delivering high quality PE lessons, managing the school’s engagement in external sports competitions and supporting the pupil development of the curriculum. The successful candidate will complement the teacher’s delivery and contribute to the overall development of pupils.
Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and evaluate high quality PE lessons for pupils.
- Support the teacher in the delivery of the PE curriculum.
- Manage the school’s participation in external sports competitions and events.
- Contribute to the enrichment of pupils’ physical development.
Qualifications & Experience
• Suitable HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a role supporting PE delivery.
• Demonstrated dedication to promoting physical activity and supporting pupil development.
• Ability to work part‑time and manage a curriculum focused agenda.
Salary & Hours
Term‑time only – 22 hours per week over four days. Salary at Scale 6: £20,368 – £20,980.
