We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Tenancy Audit Officer to work within our Tenancy Audit Team. You will be tackling social housing fraud and supporting the Council to house those in most need.

What’s the role?

  • Visiting council properties to establish who lives there and whether the property is abandoned or sublet.
  • Reviewing different information to establish the true nature of the tenancy.
  • Where a breach of the tenancy exists, serving the relevant legal notices, and attending court to give evidence.
  • Aiming to recover properties so they can be re-let in line with the Council's allocation policy.
