As an HR adviser you will work with managers to ensure our colleagues are able to deliver exceptional public services for Lewisham residents. You will support the management of a range of employee relations matters and provide expert advice on discipline, grievance, capability, and sickness policies across front‑line operational teams.
Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
- Experience providing HR advice in an operational public‑sector environment.
- Chartered membership of the Institute of Personnel and Development or demonstrable equivalent experience required.
Location: Hybrid: work both in the office and from home. Must attend the Council’s locations at least two days a week, including the Catford head office and the operational depot in Ladywell.
Salary: £45,852 – £47,925 per annum (PO2). Minimum SCP for the grade; matching current salary up to the maximum scale.
