Start Date: September 2026
Salary Range: Scale 4, point 8 - 10 (£32,442 – £33,384) pro rata. Actual salary approximately £23,406 - £24,086.
Term Time only (38 weeks), 30 hours per week.
Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 3.00pm

Forest Hill School is a thriving and aspirational comprehensive school in south-east London, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in January 2024. Key Responsibilities
Work with the Learning Support team to meet the needs of our special educational needs students and enable them to access our curriculum.
Provide support in classrooms under the direction of the class teacher, offering assistance to individuals or small groups of students.
Supervise pupils at lunchtimes.
Candidate Profile
Hardworking, with excellent communication skills and a flexible approach.
Able to remain calm under pressure and understand the workings of a busy secondary school.
Ideal for applicants wishing to undertake a career in teaching and gain experience in a classroom setting before entering a PGCE course.
