What’s the role?
Phoenix Community Housing is a housing organisation with a difference. We’re led by our residents, with a tenant as our Chair and residents as the largest group on our Board. Some housing associations talk about resident involvement. We live and breathe it every day.
We are looking for a Learning and Development Apprentice to join the busy People Services Team for a period of months.
You will work collaboratively across the organisation. Most importantly, you will have the skills to positively engage with colleagues and residents.
You will support our own Phoenix Academy and People Services Team in the delivery of training opportunities for internal staff, external customers, partners, and residents.
You will provide a range of administrative support to the team in organizing, coordinating, evaluating, monitoring, and accrediting events, classes, workshops, and programmes.
What’s in it for you?
In return, we’ll offer excellent development opportunities, plus a range of benefits that includes enrolment into the social housing pension scheme, a generous holiday allowance, flexible working, and the opportunity to make a real difference to our local community.
What we’re looking for
As a Learning and Development Apprentice for Phoenix Community Housing, you will be committed to delivering a professional and effective customer service, collaboratively working with colleagues across the organisation, and contributing to the successful delivery of the corporate plan.
You will proactively contribute to residents and the wider community with a commitment to a One Phoenix approach, focused on providing excellent homes and services to residents, and always positively promote the organisation, its aspirations, and values.
Location
The job is based in the Green Man, Bromley Road. We operate a hybrid policy where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis. This will depend on the nature of this role.
