We are looking for an apprentice to join the busy Communications and Engagement team for a period of 18 months. The team works to share news, information and opportunities with residents, businesses, partners and our staff. This role is in one area of the team: internal communications. Key tasks will include writing newsletters and emails, producing video updates, coordinating events, and updating intranet content with fresh materials. The role involves collaborating across departments to support our communications needs, providing ad‑hoc project support, collating data for reports, and assisting with meetings.

What We’re Looking For
You should have passion and drive and be willing to learn quickly. The Communications team is always busy, and it is important that you will be able to prioritise your workload, performing essential duties with ease.
Location
The job is primarily based in Laurence House, 1 Catford Road, London, SE6 4RU but we have Council sites across the borough from which you might need to work occasionally. We operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.
