Holy Cross Primary School is an outstanding, one‑form entry school in the heart of Catford, where children are known, nurtured and inspired to achieve their best. Holy Cross is part of Aspire London, which is a federation currently comprising Holy Cross School in Catford and St. Augustine’s School in Bellingham. We are seeking a passionate and committed KS1 or KS2 teacher to join our warm, supportive team and make a real difference to our pupils’ learning. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a welcoming school with motivated children, engaged families and a strong sense of community.

Qualifications

  • Qualified teacher status
  • Degree
  • Successful primary teaching experience as a teacher or in teacher training
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies
  • A good understanding of how children learn
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet pupils’ needs
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils
  • Knowledge of guidance and requirements around safeguarding children
  • Knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies
  • Good ICT skills, particularly using ICT to support learning
  • Sympathetic to the Catholic ethos of the school
