The Fairlawn and Haseltine Primary Schools’ Federation are seeking to appoint a reliable, pro-active After School Club Manager to join the team. The appointed candidate will work daily from 4pm – 6pm Mon-Fri.

Location: Haseltine Primary School, Haseltine Road, London SE26 5AD.

Ideal candidate:

  • Have experience of working with children
  • Be flexible
  • Be able to use their initiative
  • Be calm and patient
  • Have a valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate or be willing to undertake qualification
  • Be creative with good knowledge of a range of recreational and physical past time activities for children to participate in

Under the direction of the Executive Business Director, the After School Club Manager will:

  • Provide leadership in the after school club.
  • Deliver high quality play opportunities in a safe and caring environment.
  • Manage registers and income payments.
  • Build links and work in partnership with parents, carers and professionals to promote the well-being of children.

Salary:

Hours: Monday to Friday 10 hours per week (4pm – 6pm) – Job Share with the existing ASC Manager (3pm – 4.30pm)

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only, 38 weeks

Salary: Scale 5 Spine Point 15 (£35,892 pro rata). The actual salary to be paid pro-rata for part-time/term time only working is approximately £8,631.51 (0-5 years’ service).
