Overview

Higher Level Teaching Assistant - ASD resource base at Oakbridge Federation. Salary: Scale 5 - Point 13-15 (SCP 13-15). 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

The Role

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic HLTA to join our team. The successful candidate will plan, prepare, deliver, assess, report, and mark learning activities for individuals, groups, or whole classes under an agreed system of supervision.

Our ASD resource base supports 14 children, split into two classes:

  • One class led by a Lead Teacher, working with 7–8 children
  • The other class supported by this HLTA vacancy, also working with 7–8 children

Children within the resource base also access mainstream classes, so you will be working as part of a wider team across the school. Supporting you in this role will be two Teaching Assistants (TAs), forming part of an amazing and collaborative team.

Salary and Working Details

  • Scale 5 - Point 13-15 (SCP 13-15)
  • £34,863 - £35,892; Pro Rata: £30,113.91 - £31,002.74
  • 35 hours per week
  • 39 weeks per year
