Location: Sydenham School

Hours: 35 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. September 2026 start – term time with INSET and a 1‑week holiday, totaling 40 weeks.

Salary: Sc3 (pts 5‑6) £31,086–£31,530 per annum. Pro‑rata actual salary: £26,855–£27,239 per annum (pay award pending).

Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑level organisational planning and deliver a first‑class service that meets the needs of students and the curriculum.
  • Promote actively the enjoyment of all aspects of Product Design and Textiles.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and students at all levels.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in using workshop machinery.
  • Secure understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
  • Effective communication skills.
