The role will also include the role of the SENCo and some teaching responsibilities (such as classroom cover or PPA cover). Our School St William of York is a one form entry Catholic Voluntary Aided Primary School, which opened in 1970 and currently has 207 children on roll from Nursery to Year 6. Our school serves to educate the children of the Catholic community in Forest Hill. We are situated next door to the parish church of St. William of York. The partnership between the parish, the home and the school strengthens each family\’s faith development and is integral to all that we do in school. Our school aims to provide a learning environment, within a Christian setting, in which the children can grow in understanding of God\’s love for them. We have exceptionally positive relationships with parents and the community and our school is at the heart of our parish. Ofsted graded the school as Good, with a majority of Outstanding judgements in October 2022. Our last section 48 inspection grading is Outstanding.
