An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated individual to step into the role ofCorporate Debt Collection Team Leader (HBOP and Sundry Debt)within the Revenues Service. This is a key leadership position responsible for supervising teams and supporting the Corporate Debt Manager in delivering a high-quality, efficient, and customer-focused debt collection service.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Debt Collection team.
- Monitor performance, set targets, and ensure compliance with legislation and internal procedures.
- Support the collection of sundry debts, commercial rents, and benefit overpayments.
- Represent the Council in County Court proceedings and liaise with legal and court officials as needed
- Handle complex queries and complaints from internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure a joined-up approach to debt recovery.
- Deputise for the Corporate Debt Manager when required.
