This role leads on continuous improvement, training and the development of systems across the repairs service, using data, insight and innovation to strengthen performance and deliver better outcomes for residents. You will drive the continuous improvement agenda, taking ownership of training, processes and system development to improve the service’s performance and outcomes. You will build a capable workforce, working with teams and contractors to identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance systems and support more efficient delivery. You will use performance data and customer insight to shape improvement activity, embedding learning and translating it into practical change. You will champion a culture of development and accountability, supporting teams to innovate and improve. Above all, you will keep the customer at the heart of change, ensuring every improvement, training programme and system enhancement improves residents’ experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the continuous improvement agenda across the repairs service.
- Own training, processes and system development to drive performance.
- Collaborate with teams and contractors to identify and implement efficiency and effectiveness improvements.
- Analyze performance data and customer insight to inform and shape improvement initiatives.
- Embed a culture of development, accountability and learning within the workforce.
- Ensure that improvements are customer‑focused and deliver better experiences for residents.
Qualifications
- You have strong experience in technology, system development and service improvement within a repairs or operational environment.
- You are confident developing lean, efficient processes that improve performance and deliver better value for the organisation and residents.
- You are an experienced trainer, able to design and deliver effective learning across a multi‑disciplinary workforce, building capability at all levels.
- You collaborate with service leaders to embed continuous improvement, using data, insight and innovation to drive change.
- You have strong attention to detail, ensuring robust quality assurance processes and checks.
- You bring a strong customer and business focus, ensuring improvements are meaningful, measurable and centred on better outcomes.
Location
The job is primarily based in Laurence House, with a hybrid approach that requires regular work both in the office and from home.
Salary
£55,353 - £57,495 per annum (PO5). All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
