You will be a Relief Cleaning Operative within the Lewisham Cleaning Service. You will work with a team of three cleaning operatives covering corporate buildings, parks, children centres and other council related buildings. You will need a drivers licence and must be able to physically carry out tasks listed within the job description.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a relief cleaning operative who will join a team of two. You will be flexible and able to travel across the Lewisham Borough. You will work closely with three cleaning supervisors, janitors and cleaning operatives. The cleaning service operates from 06:00 to 20:00. You will work as part of a rota covering 06:00 - 14:00, 09:00 - 17:00, 12:00 - 20:00.

You must be:

  • A hard worker
  • A good communicator with good organisation skills
  • A flexible worker who is able to work as part of a rota
  • Able to drive around the borough, sometimes at short notice
  • Able to have an eye for detail
  • Able to work cohesively as part of a team or independently

Location

Laurence House, SE6 4RY is your primary base but you will be flexible and are required to attend buildings across the Lewisham borough.
