Watergate is an outstanding primary special school for children with a range of severe and complex learning difficulties, many of whom also have autism. We are expanding and invite an inspirational teacher to join our experienced team starting Autumn Term.
Responsibilities
- Teach and lead pupils within the curriculum, taking a role in leading an area of the curriculum.
- Use imaginative resources to bring lessons to life and secure exceptional outcomes for pupils.
- Collaborate with colleagues in multi‑disciplinary working and maintain close family liaison as part of our 'team around the child' approach.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience as a teacher or early career teacher, particularly with children with SEND.
- Strong subject knowledge and expert understanding of pupils’ needs.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children, with the ability to undertake enhanced DBS checks.
