We are instructed by a leading South East law firm to recruit a Real Estate Solicitor to join its sizeable and highly regarded Real Estate team, based in Reading.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor ideally between 2–6 years’ PQE to join one of the largest real estate practices in the region outside of London, known for delivering City-quality work while offering a supportive and collaborative culture. Applications from candidates with equivalent experience outside this range are also welcomed.
The Opportunity
You will join a broad and dynamic Real Estate team advising on a diverse range of high-quality commercial property matters. The team acts for a varied client base, including owners and occupiers, developers, investors and financial institutions, and handles work across multiple asset classes and sectors.
This role offers significant exposure to complex and interesting transactions, alongside excellent long-term career prospects and structured development support.
Key Responsibilities
- Office, industrial and retail lettings
- Investment property acquisitions and disposals
- Large-scale residential and mixed-use developments
- Secured lending and finance-related property work
- Acting for landlords, tenants, buyers and sellers
- Agricultural and rural estates property matters
- Supporting planning, environmental and construction-related aspects of transactions
You do not need prior experience in all of the above areas to be considered; the firm is keen to tailor the role around your existing strengths while supporting your development into new areas.

About You
- Qualified solicitor with ideally 2–6 years’ PQE (or equivalent experience)

Working Pattern
The role is based in the firm’s Reading office, with a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
