They are now seeking an experienced and proactive Legal Secretary to support their Family Law department, which handles a variety of matters including divorce, separation, children custody issues, prenuptial agreements, and more. Role Overview: As a Legal Secretary in the Family Law department, you will provide essential administrative support to a busy team of family law professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in private client or family law who is looking to further develop their career in a friendly and professional setting. Key Responsibilities: * Provide secretarial support to family law solicitors, including managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and organising client communications. * Assist with the preparation of legal documents, correspondence, and forms relating to divorce, separation, children’s custody, and prenuptial agreements. * Audio typing and preparing documents from dictation. * Support with the billing process, including time recording and invoicing clients. * Maintain accurate and organised client files, ensuring all documents are archived and compliant with internal policies. * Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning.
