Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking regional law firm, is seeking an ambitious Experienced Paralegal to join their thriving Corporate Property Services team in Glasgow. The Role
As a key member of the department, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of repossession conveyancing matters. This position offers hands-on experience across a wide range of tasks, providing an excellent platform to further develop your paralegal expertise.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing and coordinating departmental mail, ensuring timely distribution and processing
- Handling incoming correspondence — scanning, filing, and accurately updating case records
- Opening and setting up repossession conveyancing files
- Preparing and issuing sales offers and auction documentation to relevant stakeholders
- Maintaining case files, including email management and document control
- Responding to client queries and communications within agreed service levels
- Closing and archiving files in line with compliance procedures
- Supporting document storage, including title deeds and secure record keeping
- Assisting with telephone enquiries and providing case updates where appropriate
- Coordinating virtual meetings and liaising with internal and external parties
- Proactively chasing updates from solicitors, factors, and third parties
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with internal policies and regulatory standards
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in residential conveyancing (minimum 6 months)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Confident communication skills and a proactive approach
- A solid understanding of how legal practices operate
Desirable (but not essential)
- Paralegal qualification (e.g. CLT or equivalent)
