About the Role
As part of the dynamic Client Services team, you will be a vital link between prospective and existing clients and the firm’s various legal departments. Your role will involve ensuring that client enquiries are accurately conveyed to the appropriate teams, facilitating a seamless onboarding process and delivering a first-class customer experience. Based at the firm’s head office in Spinningfields, Manchester, this office-based role supports legal teams across multiple locations, including Manchester, Liverpool, and London. The team is instrumental in fostering strong client relationships, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving repeat business and referrals.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for new client enquiries, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
- Communicate with clients via multiple channels, providing clear and accurate information about the firm’s legal services.
- Accurately record and process client details and enquiries using Proclaim case management software.
- Liaise with internal legal teams, escalating enquiries efficiently and ensuring feedback is documented promptly.
- Develop a strong understanding of the firm’s departments and services to support clients effectively.
- Organise and prioritise workloads to meet service level agreements, ensuring all tasks and client communications are managed efficiently.
- Conduct initial assessments on enquiries and provide appropriate quotes where applicable.
- Support legal teams with matter opening and Know Your Client (KYC) checks.
- Maintain a flexible and proactive approach to accommodate the evolving needs of the business and team.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and client-focused approach.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workloads independently to meet deadlines and service targets.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and case management.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a similar client service role within the legal sector.
- Familiarity with Proclaim case management software (full training will be provided).
