The Role
We have a role for a motivated and experienced driver & house clearance operative to join the team. If you have experience of driving, retail and/or house clearance operations and would like to work for Lewis Manning hospice Care charity, this role could be for you.
The Van Driver and Logistics Operative will support the activities of the retail operations through house collections/clearances and deliveries from locations within Dorset and the Purbecks and any other agreed geographical location.
You will be responsible for providing a professional and commercially focused approach to support sales for the retail chain whilst enhancing the Lewis-Manning Hospice Care brand externally.
The Person
The successful applicant will have experience of:
- Experience of working in a similar driving/warehouse role.
- Full clean driving licence
- Delivery/collection/house clearance experience
- Good organisational skills
- Understanding of safe working practices in a driving/warehouse environment
- Experience of working with the public.
- Good customer service skills.
