Pay: Up to £60,000.00 per year

Location: East Yorkshire

Monday to Thursday days based 6am to 6pm, and some hours will occasionally be necessary on a Friday morning to be paid at an overtime rate.

Due to continued development across our site, we are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineer to strengthen our engineering team.

The Role

We are seeking a hands-on Multi-Skilled Engineer to support and work alongside our Site Engineering Manager in maintaining and improving our production facilities. Working within a well-invested and continually developing food production environment, the successful candidate will play a key role in keeping equipment running efficiently, reducing downtime, and supporting future site improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production equipment and site machinery
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime
  • Support the Engineering Manager with maintenance planning and site improvements
  • Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Work closely with production teams to maintain operational efficiency
  • Ensure all work complies with health & safety and food safety standards
  • Maintain clear and accurate maintenance records

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within manufacturing, food production, or FMCG environments
  • Strong fault finding and problem-solving ability
  • Experience working with mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills

Desirable

  • Electrical certification or qualifications
