We are working with a boutique investment firm seeking a highly motivated Analyst or Associate to join their Investment Banking team, specialising in sell-side M&A and private capital raising in the clean energy and sustainable infrastructure sectors. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of the energy transition, supporting transactions in solar, wind, battery storage, hydrogen, and other decarbonisation technologies.
You will play a key role in the execution of live deals, development of investor materials, financial modelling, and client/investor interactions. The position offers direct exposure to senior bankers, C-suite clients, and top-tier institutional investors.
Key Responsibilities- Transaction Execution: Support and lead aspects of M&A and capital raising mandates for clean energy developers, platforms, and asset owners. Coordinate due diligence, data room management, and process timelines.
- Financial Modelling & Valuation: Build, refine, and audit complex financial models (e.g., DCF, project finance, LBO) for asset- and corporate-level valuations. Conduct sensitivity analyses, scenario modelling, and performance benchmarking.
As an Analyst you will need 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, project finance, or energy/infrastructure advisory. For the Associate opportunity you will need 3-5+ years of experience with proven transaction execution exposure in sell-side mandates.
