Principal Consultant
Lewis Davey is recruiting for a Principal Consultant who can do both new build designs and operational buildings. Someone who can also complete energy management work and is familiar in boiler rooms. This role will suit someone with an engineering degree or equivalent. An opportunity to join a leading organisation that provide support and training, professional memberships paid for, support to achieve chartership and training allowance for CPD.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of project experience (ideally focused on office refurbishments over new-build)
Experience of producing technical reports such as supporting with EPC Improvement Plans or low carbon refurbishments feasibility studies
Experience of producing or supporting on the preparation of energy strategies and statements for planning applications
Experience of producing NZC Action Plans / Pathways for commercial offices and Industrial Units
Interest in sustainable design – ‘passive & active’ i.e. building fabric, building services and renewables
Awareness of Embodied Carbon in relation to building services
Client facing experience
Experience of attending project meetings and leading on your subject
Experience of supporting junior colleagues
Desirable (but not essential experience)
