Purpose of the role

In this role, you will be working across a variety of dynamic projects, managing social media platforms, and driving innovative digital campaigns. You’ll stay ahead of the curve with the latest social trends and technologies, activating campaigns that resonate with audiences and meet client goals. Collaborating closely with our internal teams, you’ll provide expert guidance on social strategy and execution, ensuring impactful results for clients. Your role will be key in shaping social media initiatives that elevate our clients' digital presence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end management of social media accounts, ensuring content creation, scheduling, and posting aligns with client objectives and goals.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure timely execution of content across platforms.
  • Develop and manage social media content strategies for a diverse range of clients, ensuring the creation of engaging content that meets objectives and KPIs.
  • Oversee content calendars for both ongoing and project-based campaigns, collaborating with in-house production teams or external partners as necessary.
  • Continuously assess and enhance social media strategies, applying past learnings to stay ahead of trends and ensure continuous growth in clients' social media presence.
  • Provide expert advice on social media best practices within the agency, delivering clear and engaging insights both in written and verbal formats.
  • Demonstrate exceptional writing abilities, adapting to different client tones of voice.
  • Regularly produce and present high-quality documents, showcasing attention to detail and a strong command of language.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure content is top-notch, optimized for social media platforms, and aligns with brand guidelines and client expectations.
  • Maintain regular client communication, confidently providing updates, results, insights, and strategic recommendations.

About you

  • Experience managing social media within a marketing agency environment, with exposure to both B2B and B2C clients.
  • Strong background in managing social media platforms and digital campaigns.
  • Adept at working with creative teams to brief in and manage content deliverables, e.g. video production requirements.
  • Ability to stay on top of social media trends and keep up to date with industry changes.
  • Excellent research, communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Strong data management, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
