We are seeking reliable and dedicated School Cleaning Operatives to join our team in Evesham, starting in September.
This role involves maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within school premises, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students, staff, and visitors. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in commercial cleaning or janitorial work to contribute to a positive educational environment through their attention to detail and professionalism.
Bredon Hill Academy, Term time only, Monday-Friday, 15:30-18:30
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough cleaning of classrooms, corridors, toilets, and other communal areas within the school premises
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and maintained to high hygiene standards
- Empty bins, replenish supplies such as soap and paper towels, and restock cleaning materials as required
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and other janitorial tools
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks and hazards
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the designated supervisor promptly
- Maintain a tidy storage of cleaning supplies and equipment in designated areas
- Adhere to school policies regarding confidentiality and security protocols.
