- Senior Events Manager - The Role
- Develop and support the leadership of the events team, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Focus on team development, implementing training sessions and building skills.
- Assist in managing day‑to‑day event operations, ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded.
- Understand how the rota is put together and be able to plan and book staff when required.
- Take responsibility for personal and team health & safety adherence, leading safety walks and ensuring safety conversations are up to date.
- Listen to customer comments and deal with them as appropriate or pass them on to a relevant member of staff to ensure prompt follow‑up action is taken.
- Conduct regular team meetings, ensuring open two‑way communication.
- Develop knowledge of the financial side of the business, looking at labour targets and contributing to financial success.
- Assist in leading and developing a strong, high‑performing events team.
- Ensure consistent quality service delivery by taking part in the daily tastings with chefs and temperature checks on the floors.
- Ensure set standards are met for each event on a daily basis.
