Bar Manager – National Theatre, Theatre, Bars and Cafes – Full-Time / Permanent
Salary: £34,744 per annum, plus comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellbeing support, 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, meals on duty, and more.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of bar and coffee service operations during high‑volume performances and events.
- Collaborate with the venue team to ensure smooth operations and outstanding customer experience.
- Maintain high standards of stock and cellar management, coffee preparation, drink service, and front‑of‑house team performance.
- Support operational planning, scheduling and resource allocation to optimise service efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experienced hospitality professional with a strong background in bar and coffee service.
- Passion for exceptional customer experiences and team leadership in a fast‑paced live entertainment environment.
- Experience managing busy bar operations and café‑style service, including knowledge of coffee preparation, drinks service, stock and cellar management.
- Strong communication, teamwork skills, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
