We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Hospitality & Events to lead the delivery of premium matchday hospitality and non‑matchday conference & events business at GTech Community Stadium, a state‑of‑the‑art conference and events venue and home of Brentford Football Club. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for driving operational hospitality excellence, delivering memorable guest experiences, leading high‑performing teams, and ensuring commercial success across all hospitality and events activity.
Head of Hospitality and Events - The role:
- Lead the planning and delivery of all matchday hospitality operations and non‑matchday events.
- Manage hospitality lounges, suites, and conference & event spaces, ensuring exceptional service standards at every touchpoint.
- Oversee event execution, staffing, labour management and operational budgets.
- Take ownership of event P&Ls, payroll, forecasting and cost control.
- Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and venue partners.
- Lead, coach and develop hospitality teams to create a culture of excellence and engagement.
- Drive innovation, continuously enhancing the guest journey and event offering.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, HACCP, COSHH and food safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with culinary, planning and venue teams to deliver outstanding experiences.
What we're looking for:
- Proven senior hospitality leadership experience within a stadium, arena, conference centre, hotel, members' club or premium events environment.
- Strong operational and commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L performance.
- Passionate about hospitality, food, beverage and creating exceptional guest experiences.
- Experienced in leading large teams in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments.
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- Flexible to work around matchdays, evenings and event schedules.
