We're looking for a dynamic Barista to deliver high-quality coffee and beverages while creating a welcoming and engaging experience for members and guests at The Conduit – one of London’s leading private members’ clubs. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent product standards, supporting the wider front of house team, and ensuring the barista station is organised, efficient and service‑ready at all times.

Birchwood at The Conduit, led by chef Will Devlin, is a brand‑new cafe and wine bar that will bring a fresh, ingredient‑led approach rooted in seasonality and sustainable sourcing. Expect bold, thoughtful dishes and a space designed for connection in the heart of Covent Garden.

Barista – The role
  • Prepare high‑quality coffee and hot beverages to consistent standards
  • Support preparation of other drinks as required
  • Maintain strong knowledge of coffee, ingredients, and preparation techniques
  • Ensure all beverages are presented to a high standard
  • Deliver warm, friendly, and efficient service to guests
  • Engage with guests, offering recommendations to enhance their experience
  • Collaborate with front of house and wider team to ensure smooth service
  • Set up, maintain, and restock the barista station and work areas
  • Follow opening/closing procedures and maintain cleanliness across FOH and BOH
  • Adhere to health, safety, hygiene, and company standards while supporting ongoing development

  • Experience as a Barista or in a similar hospitality role preferred
