Purpose
As Kitchen Stock Controller, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our stadium's culinary team by ensuring the accurate management, control, and replenishment of all kitchen stock. You will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, receiving deliveries, maintaining stockroom organisation, and supporting chefs with timely access to the ingredients and equipment they need. Working closely with the culinary and procurement teams, you’ll help minimise waste, manage costs, and uphold food safety standards, ensuring our kitchens are always ready to deliver exceptional service on matchdays, event days, and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Goods Receipting & Distribution: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes. Ensure goods are correctly labelled, stored, and distributed to relevant departments or storage areas. Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve delivery discrepancies or damaged goods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the goods-in area.
- Stock Control & Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels using inventory management systems. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records. Track usage trends and assist in forecasting demand for key items, especially during peak event periods. Identify and report slow-moving or obsolete stock.
