We’re looking for…
Lead the Arena F&B operations team to deliver exceptional guest experience and commercial performance. Lead and embed strategic initiatives which deliver the Arena F&B strategic plan. Ensure the safety of our team and guests. Demonstrate commercial value to your direct reports, line manager, and leadership teams, in line with the One Compass vision, values, and overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilties
- Support Arena F&B General Manager in executing the Arena F&B strategic plan simply and efficiently to deliver profitable growth. Driving sales, ensuring efficient operations, and well controlled operational costs.
- Create a premium experience for our guests ensuring they receive a great experience through every touch-point of their premium journey.
- Create a fun & vibrant environment for our colleagues that naturally transfers to the customer experience
- Develop the guest experience through maintaining SOP standards and seeking new opportunities to enhance the experience.
- Key account manager for live event clients.
- Identify and implement sales driving and cost saving opportunities.
- Monitor performance – manage profit and loss, budgets, sales forecasting, and other key performance indicators to deliver operational excellence and enhance profitability.
- Support building labour plans and F&B orders for show/ event using sales forecasts provided from F&B General Manager & Head of Operations.
- Ensure all areas meet health & safety standards, comply with licensing policies and law.
- Coach Management Team and other team members to achieve their KPIs and maintain high standards across the business.
- Develop the guest experience through maintaining SOP standards and seeking new opportunities to enhance the experience.
- Create a positive and engaging working environment / culture, to attract, recruit and retain the best talent.
- Interact effectively and build positive relationships with all stakeholders.
Person Specfication
- Proven leadership experience in an operational role, preferably within a similar or relatable environment.
- Strong commercial acumen. A track record of identifying and implementing commercial opportunities and managing costs.
- Passionate about delivering amazing experiences for guests and upholding standards.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- A track record of leading and developing high-performing teams. Critical thinker challenges the status quo and drives change.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills.
- Personal License holder is preferred but not essential
- DPS qualified is preferred but not essential
