ROLE PURPOSE:

The overall purpose of the role of Food & Beverage Lead at Levy is hands-on and primarily retail-focused to ensure the smooth operation and success of events held at the venue. As the face of the designated area(s) within the venue, the Food & Beverage Lead plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer experiences to all visitors. The primary responsibility is to lead a team of staff members in delivering food and drink services in accordance with event instructions, including serving customers and clients, managing sales, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations, the Food & Beverage Lead is expected to embody the CARE mantra and uphold key behaviours such as teamwork and collaboration, fostering a positive work environment where staff members are encouraged to excel. Ultimately, the Food & Beverage Lead plays a pivotal role in delivering a seamless and memorable experience for every guest.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leadership: Provide effective leadership to a team of staff members, including training, coaching, and supervision to ensure high performance and productivity levels.
  • Operations: Oversee the smooth operation of food and drink services, ensuring that all tasks are carried out efficiently and in accordance with event instructions.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences to all visitors and guests.
  • Service Delivery: Manage the sale and service of food, beverages, and merchandise, ensuring accuracy in transactions and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among team members, encouraging open communication and teamwork.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety protocols, ensuring the safety and well-being of staff members, customers, and visitors.
