Step into the spotlight at one of the most dynamic and prestigious venues in the country. As Reception Manager, you won’t just be the first face our guests see—you’ll lead the entire Reception function, ensuring flawless service, seamless operations and standout experiences for every visitor. Hours vary from early mornings (6:30 AM) to evening finishes (7 PM), including occasional late nights and weekends, especially during match season (June-September).
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the reception team - supporting development, conducting training, setting expectations and managing performance.
- Act as the key liaison between Reception and all departments (Events, Security, Catering, Facilities, etc.), ensuring cohesive and proactive communication.
- Oversee all Reception processes - from guest arrival to departure, ensuring a five-star experience at every touchpoint.
- Manage scheduling and shift coordination to ensure Reception coverage aligns with events and venue needs.
- Maintain and improve front-of-house systems including guest welcome, signage, digital displays and concierge-level services.
- Own the preparation of manager packs for events, conferences and match days, ensuring all materials and logistics are ready.
- Handle deliveries, collections and venue access with oversight and professionalism.
- Continuously review and enhance guest experience standards, bringing forward suggestions for improvements and innovation.
- A confident and experienced leader who thrives on delivering exceptional hospitality and building strong relationships across teams and departments.
- A natural communicator, capable of coordinating across multiple departments to ensure all front-of-house operations are integrated, efficient and guest-focused.
- Someone who can stay calm under pressure, delegate effectively and manage competing priorities with grace and precision.
- Familiarity with Salesforce/Delphi software and reading Function Sheets/BEOs. (Desired but not essential)
