The Raceday Event Co-Ordinator plays a central role in supporting the delivery of exceptional race day experiences across three premier venues: Leopardstown, Fairyhouse and The Curragh. This position ensures all departments have accurate, timely and complete information to deliver world-class hospitality and operational excellence. Working closely with racecourse management teams, culinary teams, operations and sales, the Raceday Co-Ordinator collates all relevant event information, prepares comprehensive race day packs, manages internal food & beverage bookings for non-race day events and serves as an on-site point of contact where required. The successful candidate will excel in a high-energy environment, have meticulous attention to detail and demonstrate outstanding communication and organisational skills.
Raceday Event Co-Ordinator - The Role
- Coordinate race day requirements with Leopardstown, Fairyhouse and The Curragh, confirming schedules, hospitality areas and guest details.
- Produce clear internal briefs and comprehensive race day packs, including menus, seating plans and service notes.
- Liaise with culinary teams to finalise menus, allergen and sustainability information, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Act as the Levy on-site contact on race days, supporting set-up, communication and smooth hospitality delivery.
- Manage internal food and beverage bookings for non-race day events.
What we're looking for
- Highly organised, detail-focused and process-driven, with the ability to manage multiple information streams simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong relationship-builder who enjoys working cross-functionally with teams such as operations, culinary and sales.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and shared-file systems.
- Experience in hospitality, racing venues, or large-scale operations is desirable.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Enthusiastic, proactive and solutions-focused.
- Full, clean driving licence preferred but not essential.
- Flexibility to work race days, including evenings and weekends as required.
