The Role
At Levy, we’re all about elevating the everyday and creating unforgettable food experiences. As a Chef de Partie at the RDS, you’ll be a vital part of a high-performing culinary team delivering outstanding food across world-class conferences, exhibitions, banquets and events. You’ll take ownership of your section, lead by example in the kitchen, and help deliver food that matches the scale, pace and prestige of one of Ireland’s most iconic venues.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Kitchen & Food Delivery
- Running your section day-to-day, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Preparing and delivering food for conferences, banquets, exhibitions and VIP hospitality.
- Supporting service during large-scale, fast-paced events while maintaining attention to detail.
- Teamwork & Leadership
- Working closely with Sous Chefs and Head Chefs to keep operations running smoothly.
- Supporting, guiding and mentoring Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants.
- Being a positive role model and contributing to a strong, inclusive kitchen culture.
- Food Safety & Compliance
- Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards at all times.
- Following HACCP procedures, including correct storage, labelling and stock rotation.
- Reporting any equipment or maintenance issues promptly.
- Stock & Efficiency
- Assisting with stock control, ordering and waste reduction.
- Using ingredients efficiently while protecting quality and consistency.
Who We’re Looking For
- Essential
- Experience as a Chef de Partie, or a confident Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up.
- Background in a high-volume kitchen, ideally events, banqueting or hospitality.
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen best practice.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
- Desirable
- Experience in conference, banqueting or large-scale event catering.
- Relevant culinary qualifications.
- A genuine passion for food and continuous improvement.
