A leading marketing and data company is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to play a key role in supporting the divestment process by driving the development of the Target Operating Model (TOM), leading the HRIS platform separations, and managing critical aspects such as data migration, user journeys, change impact analysis, and testing management. The Snr BA will act as a bridge between the business and IT teams, ensuring that the separated entity's business platforms—such as Workday—are properly transitioned, while focusing on user experience, operational impacts, and UAT execution. We are looking for someone with extensive Workday experience.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and implementation of the Target Operating Model (TOM) for the divested business.
- Define business platforms, processes, and organizational structure post-divestment.
- Work with business and technical teams to align the TOM with strategic objectives.
- Act as the primary Business Analyst for the separation of Workday and other HR applications.
- Analyse and document functional requirements for the new HRIS environment.
- Ensure business continuity and operational efficiency during migration.
- Work with data architects to define the data migration strategy.
- Map data sources, define transformation rules, and oversee data validation.
- Document and analyse user journeys, ensuring optimal usability post-divestment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve HR system workflows and efficiency.
- Conduct change impact assessments to understand business, technology, and user implications.
- Engage with stakeholders across HR, IT, and business teams to communicate requirements and project progress.
- Develop comprehensive test plans to validate business processes, data integrity, and system functionality.
- Manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, including stakeholder coordination and issue resolution.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with expertise in divestment, mergers, or acquisitions.
- Strong functional knowledge of Workday, particularly in implementation, separation, and migration.
- Proven experience in TOM development and business process transformation.
- Extensive experience with data migration, including mapping, transformation, and validation.
- Ability to manage UAT processes and develop detailed testing strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with superior documentation abilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
