Job Description
A great client of mine is looking for an experienced Project Manager on an initial 6 month contract to lead a critical divestment project, overseeing the separation and migration of finance platforms (Microsoft Business Central, OneStream, and local systems). The role involves managing platform separation, data migration, user journey optimization, and change impact analysis while ensuring smooth execution of the Target Operating Model (TOM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Execution: Oversee the end-to-end separation and migration of finance systems, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- TOM Development: Lead the design and implementation of a fit-for-purpose TOM for the divested entity.
- Platform & Data Migration: Manage system transitions, ensuring compliance, security, and operational continuity.
- User Journey & Change Impact: Optimize user experience, conduct change impact analysis, and mitigate risks.
- Testing & UAT: Develop test plans and lead UAT cycles to ensure seamless cutover.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors, providing regular updates and risk assessments.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 7+ years managing Finance technology projects, particularly ERP migrations and business separations.
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Business Central, D365, OneStream, and data migration methodologies.
- Strong track record in TOM development, UAT execution, and stakeholder management.
- Certifications in PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile preferred.
- Excellent communication, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
